Lord God, my desire for a child grows stronger every day.Cradle me in your love and calm all my anxieties.I look to you for insight to make the dream of parenthood a reality.Stir in my heart the desire to follow your will in all my decisions.Give me courage to trust your guiding presence. Deepen my faith in your plan for our family.Shine your divine mercy and compassion upon me.Amen

- 9/10/07-- 5p.m. FINAL home assessment meeting at our house!!! ASSESSMENT COMPLETED!!!!
- 8/28/07 -- Lacy 1 on 1 meeting with Kristin 9 a.m.
- 8/27/07 -- Dan's physical exam for adoption
- 8/24/07 -- Dan had his 1 on 1 meeting with Kristin 9 a.m.
- 8/20/07 -- Lacy's physical exam for adoption
- 8/17/07 -- First home study meeting 9 a.m. with our social worker, Kristin, at our home
- 8/6/07 -- We sent in our paperwork..on our 3rd anniversary!!!!! Yay!!!!
- 7/31/07 -- Personality test completed at The Village
- 7/24/07 -- Got our fingerprints for criminal background check
- 7/16 - 7/17/07 -- 2 day adoption workshop
- 1/22/07 -- Mailed in our formal application
- 12/24/06 -- The day we realized adoption could really happen for us

It looks great! We are hoping to put apple green paint on the walls of our nursery so we can accessorize for a boy or a girl...whenver we get placed! EEK - haven't found bedding yet, though...You made a great choice!
